Mindy McCullough, MS, RDN, LDN

Prediabetes and Diabetes Management, Chronic Kidney Disease, and Weight Management

Mindy describes herself as having a laid-back, keep it simple approach to nutrition and aims to make healthy eating affordable, creative, and tasty. She believes that good health and nutrition doesn’t need to be new and shiny, overcomplicated, or expensive. There is no one diet for everyone and she will work with you to develop an individualized plan to help you reach your goals. Mindy enjoys working one-on-one with patients to not only achieve their goals, but also to create a lifelong realistic and sustainable relationship with food.

Creating lifelong habit change can be difficult; that is why during their sessions, Mindy will help patients break down their goals into smaller approachable changes. Before tackling each habit change, she will work together with patients to create a plan, get organized, and remove any potential barriers that may stop you from succeeding. She will be there to support and encourage patients throughout their journey with a non-judgmental counseling style.

Outside of her professional life, Mindy enjoys walking her dog on the greenways with a good cup of coffee in hand. She always has time to talk about the Pittsburgh Penguins, soccer, and the local food scene. Many weekends you can find her hiking in the North Carolina mountains chasing waterfalls.
